DESCRIPTION Lemongrass tea is an herbal tea made from the leaves and stems of the Lemongrass plant (Cymbopogon citratus). It has a light, refreshing taste with a lemony, slightly sweet flavour.

To make Lemongrass tea, the leaves and stems are typically chopped or bruised and then steeped in hot water for several minutes. The resulting tea has a pale yellow colour and a delicate aroma.

Lemongrass tea is a long-standing favourite in Thai kitchens, where the stalks are cut fresh from the garden and dropped straight into the pot.
